Keynote Speaker - Peter Verhezen
Peter Verhezen Professor Dr in Philosophy from University of Leuven and an MBA Finance (Leuven-Vlerick Business School in association with the Chicago Business School).

Peter Verhezen holds a PhD in Philosophy from University of Leuven and an MBA Finance (Leuven-Vlerick Business School in association with the Chicago Business School).
His expertise is in the field of Governance, Integrated Risk Management (with a focus on Asia), Sustainable Strategies & Investments (emphasizing Asia) and Innovative Leadership Strategies. He advises organizations in Asia on governance strategies and how to limit potential reputation risk or to pro-actively seek innovative business opportunities through more aligned operations and strategies.
Peter is also a Visiting Scholar and Senior Fellow in the area of Governance and International Business at the Melbourne Graduate School of Management and Associate Professor at the Executive Melbourne Business School. Recently, he has been appointed as a Fellow for Governance and Asian Studies at the prestigious Ash Institute of Democratic Governance and Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School (Cambridge MA).

Academic awards and distinctions
1984 The Taymans Prize, i.e. the first price for best thesis in International Economics and Economic History.

2007/2008/2009 Dean's Award & Certificate for Excellence in Teaching at the University of Melbourne, Department of Management & Marketing.

2011 IMCA's 2011 Richard J. Davis Ethics Award for the article, "Giving Voice in a Culture of Silence, From a Culture of Compliance to a Culture of Integrity" that appeared in the Journal of Business Ethics, that has made a "significant contribution to advancing the understanding and knowledge of investment management consulting and/or private wealth management in the area of ethics, and/or the fiduciary, legal, or regulatory issues that affect these professional practices".
